Allah-humma bika asbahna wa-bika amsayna, wa-bika nah-ya, wa-bika namootu wa-ilaykan-nushoor. In the Morning
Allah-humma bika amsayna wa-bika as-bah-na, wa-bika nah-ya, wa-bika namootu wa-ilayka al-maseer. In the Evening
MEANING FOR THE ABOVE TWO DUA'S:
O Allah, by your leave we have reached the morning, and by leave we have reached the evening. By your leave we live and die and unto you is our resurrection. (In the evening "unto you is our return")
Allah-humma anta rab-bee, la-ila-ha illa anta, Anta khalaq-tanee, wa-ana A'abduka, wa-ana A'ala Ah-dika wa-wa-dika mas-ta-taa-tu, a-oo-zu bika min sharri ma sa-naa-tu, a-boo-u laka bini-maatika aa-lay-a, wa a-boo-u bi-zhan-bee, faghfirlee fa-in-nahu la yagh-fi-ruzh- zhu-noo-ba illa ant.
MEANING FOR THE ABOVE DUA:
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and promise as best as I can. I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favours upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sins except you.
Bismillah-hil-lazhee la yad-du-ru ma-is mihee shay-an fil-ardh wala fis-samaa-i wa-hu-was-samee-ul Aleem (3 times)
MEANING FOR THE ABOVE DUA:
In the name of Allah with whose name nothing on earth nor in the Heavens has the ability to cause harm and He is the All Seeing, The All-knowing.
Radee-tu bil-laah-hi rabban wa-bil-is-laami dee-nan wa-bi-Muhammadin (sal-lal laahi a-lay-hi wa sallam) na-biy-yan (3 times)
MEANING FOR THE ABOVE DUA:
I am pleased and satisfied with Allah as my Lord and Islam as my way of life and Muhammad (SAWS) as my prophet.
Subhan-al-laahi wa-bi-ham-di-hi, adaa-da Khal-qihi, wa-rida naf-sihi, wa-zi-nata arsh-shi-hi, wa-mi-dad ka-li-maati-hi
MEANING FOR THE ABOVE DUA:
Allah is the ultimate perfection and is the most worthy of praise. I praise him by the number of his creations, by what pleases him, by the weight of his throne and by the ink of his words - which includes his revelation (Qur’aan and Sunnah) 3 times in the morning.
Subhanal-laa-hi wa-bi-ham-di-hi
MEANING FOR THE ABOVE DHIKR:
Allah is the ultimate Perfection and is elevated above any imperfection and is the most worthy of praise.
100 times or ten times morning and evening or whenever possible.
Subhan-Allah, wal-ham-du-lillah, wa la-i-lah-ha il-lal-la wal-la-hu akbar
MEANING FOR THE ABOVE DHIKR:
Glorified is Allah and all praises is for Allah. There is none worthy of worship but Allah. Allah is the Most Great.
100 times or ten times morning and evening or whenever possible.
Read the three khuls completely in the morning and evening
(Three times)
Qu-hu-wal-lahu ahad,
Qul a-oo-zhu bi-ra-bil falaq
and Qul a-oo-zhu bi-rab-bin-naas
Ask Allah for continued forgiveness by reading (as much as possible):
As-tagh-fir-rul-lah-hal,
Az-heem-mal-la-zhi,
La-ila-ha , il-lah-huwal,
Hay-yul, Kha-youm
